Prestige Investigations has been in the investigations business formally since 1991. However, the owner Dick Rivett, prior to opening his own agency was a Tampa Police Detective and also In-house Investigator for one of Tampa’s premiere law firms.

Prestige concentrates on witness interview, in-depth background invest-igations on individuals and companies, surveillance with state-of-the-art video equipment and tracking devices, pre-employment checks and a variety of other investigations with the best national search databases of any investigative firm.

Owner Dick Rivett was with the Tampa Police Department from 1965 through 1979. He worked at all levels of investigations, as a uniformed police officer, a detective in all bureaus of the Police Department covering investigations ranging from traffic investigat-ions to murders.

In 1979 Dick went to work for a private investigation firm in Tampa, and later as an in-house investigator for a prestigious law firm in Tampa. He eventually started his own agency.

The client list for Prestige Investigations covers insurance, law firms and many individuals throughout our nation. Dick has appeared on the national TV show “Sally Jessy Raphael”, and is referred cases by the television’s “America’s Most Wanted”.
